Learn Te Reo M?ori & the History of Aotearoa from a Biblical Perspective

We had a thought-provoking & stimulating discussion about diversity a few weeks ago & unanimously decided to continue the conversation. Therefore we are offering opportunities to engage further in the conversation, free to the Hillview community: parents, teachers & Board members.

Te Reo M?ori for Beginners: covering pronunciation, greetings, preparing your pepeha (personal introduction), basic conversation & karakia (1 hour per evening).

History of Aotearoa: exploring God’s intent for our country. How do we view the Treaty of Waitangi and the events that followed from a biblical perspective? We will trace the origins of M?ori, European colonisation & prayerfully consider the relevance our history has for us today (1 hour per evening).
