- Need a car that goes for the Boxing Day Ramp Race Derby
- I would like to prepare and auction a derby car for the Woodford Glen Boxing Day Ramp Race Derby.
- Do you have a car that goes that you don't need any more? A car that has failed its warrant and is not economical to repair would be perfect. Not every car is suitable but all cars would be considered. If more than one car is donated I may be able to prepare multiple entries and auctions.
- If you donate the car, I will strip and prepare it to the derby rules. I will also provide all the necessary safety equipment, transport the car to the trackand remove it afterwards. I would also pay the entry and licence fees.

- Fresh Choice Barrington
- Fresh Choice Barrington has a monthly giveaway of $500.
- We would love somebody to take on the job of applying for this each month.

- Car Boot Sale
- Are you interested in putting your $100 together to source/make things to sell as part of a larger group?
- I am looking for interested people for a car boot sale / mini fair that would be held in late November.

- Would you like to sell Cadbury chocolate, chocolate bars at your workplace, sports club, church or in your local neighbourhood?
- Karen Winder at the Hillview office has details about a way you can make lots of money for the gym. See her for further details.

- Do you have any sources for items that could be auctioned or are you willing to approach businesses on our behalf?

- A holiday home has been found! - Do you have time to greet guests, do extra cleaning or laundry?
- Great news, Neil and Lynley have found a central city property to run as a holiday home with all profits going to the gym fund. Have a look at Arundel City Villa
- People who would be happy to either occasionally greet guests, clean the holiday home or wash laundry would be appreciated.

- Things to sell?
- Sell them on TradeMe without the hassle, minimal fees and donate to the gym!
- Neil and Lynley have already raised $3000 for the gym on TradeMe. They urgently need more items to sell. This will keep the sales fees lower and the high profile of the Hillview TradeMe account.
- If you have anything to sell, particularly large items, good quality named brand toys or clothing please contact Neil or Lynley on 9606880
- Deliver and collect census forms
- Statistics NZ will soon be looking for people to deliver and collect the census forms for the census next year.
- Neil did it last time and it took approximately 80 hours over 4 weeks to attend 2 training courses, and deliver and pickup the forms. The hours were flexible. The pay was about $1100 net. If the money was donated to the school you could get a tax rebate.
- Information is on www.census.govt.nz or you can ring Neil on 9606880 to ask him questions about his experience last time if you are interested. To get the job you will need to apply to Statistics NZ and go for an interview.
- Turn your home into a Bed and Breakfast for the Rugby World Cup
- We need families with spare bedrooms and with easy access to a bathroom who can provide accommodation and serve a continental breakfast. (food provided) for 1 or 2 nights to couples or small families (2 rooms), over the World Cup weekends.
- You would need a Queen bed, King bed, or twin beds. Can you send kids to grandparents for the night and use their rooms?
- Rooms must be free from personal clutter and valuables and will need to be set up and photographed soon to get advertising underway.
- We can coordinate and sort out marketing and photographing rooms etc. if you can provide the rooms.

- Provide transport for the Rugby World Cup 8th/9th October 2011
- Would you be willing to provide transport to and from games at AMI stadium on the 8th and 9th October 2011.

- Do you have a caravan or campervan you could loan us for the Rugby World Cup 8th/9th October 2011
- Would you be willing to park your caravan or campervan in the school grounds to be slept in by others over the Rugby World Cup semi-final weekend.

- Live on $2 food per day for a week - Are you up for the Challenge!
- Most of the world lives on less than $2 per day food, by neccessity, not choice. Can you survive a week living as they do? Is it possible???
- How does it raise money for the gym? Work out how much you spend on food in a normal week including coffees, takeaways, lunches. Allow $2 per person in your family x 7 and that is how much you have to spend on food for the challenge week, The difference is your donation to the talents fund and is tax deductible.
- Make and price a meal plan for the week - no cheating by using pantry items! Write up your recipes and use as an Excel project.
- Alternatively get 4 families together and have turns at cooking for each other one night per week for a month budgetting $1.50 per person for dinner.
- Send me your recipes and I will put together an recipe book and sell copies on Trademe.
